2021

In the season of social distancing, the best thing to do was play some hockey outside. Perfect weather and an amazing start to an annual tradition.

2022

Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't agree with us this year and we were forced to cancel due to temperatures being too warm

2023

We were back and better than ever with now TWO divisions. Players for both divisions played on the same day and we had an amazing turnout

2024

This year, we only had 8 total days that the weather was cold enough for the rink to be skateable. Fortunately, a cold snap came through, allowing us to have the tournament, but the weather turned completely prior to the tournament. The rink was unskateable 24 hours prior to the tournament and the temperature dropped below zero, causing us to cancel the junior division. The senior division played, and while the tournament was hosted on Youtube for the first time (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ9RH7L_M3o) the weather was so cold, the camera froze up for much of it.

Regardless, we had a great (cold) tournament day!

2025

This year, the tournament was split into two separate days for the first time. The Junior division had ideal conditions and played a series of hard-fought games. In the end, Jacob and Bailey edged out the competition for their first-ever victories and couldn't wait to go tell their brothers! Everyone had an amazing time and thank you to all the parents and players that were there!

The senior division was intended to have 18 players but after a massive amount of last-second cancellations, we ended up playing with 10 players. Though the weather was cold (around 5 degrees), the kids played their games and then went into the garage that was around 50-60 degrees to play NHL 25 and eat food catered in by Fat Jack's BBQ.

This year, Hunter and Colin beat out the competition consisting of players from Oregon, Waunakee and the Madison Capitols. It was an amazing day and fun was had by all!
